Head Restraints
R em oving fro n t seat head re s tra in ts :
B ring the head re s tra in t to its h ig h e s t
p o sitio n .
D e pre ss release b u tto n (1) beneath
the se a tb a ck co ve rin g m aterial and
pull head re s tra in t up sharply, h o ld ing
it by the le ft head re s tra in t p o s t
(view ed in d riving d ire c tio n ). Then pull
o u t head re s tra in t co m p le te ly w ith
b o th hands.
The release b u tto n (1) is lo cated
b e lo w th e le ft head re s tra in t p o s t on
b o th fro n t seats.

Pull th e head re s tra in t up to its h ig h ­
e s t p o s itio n . D e pre ss th e release b u t­
to n (2) ne xt to th e le ft head re s tra in t
p o s t and pull o u t the head re stra in t.
Installin g rear seat head re stra in ts:
In se rt the head restraint, push it do w n
and a d ju s t as de sire d . The release
b u tto n w ill a u to m a tica lly re tu rn to its
origin al p o sitio n .
W arning!
For your p ro tectio n, drive only
w ith properly positioned head
restraints.
Do not drive the vehicle w ithout
the s e at head restraints. Head re­
straints are intended to help
reduce injuries during an acci­
dent.
