• The b e lt m u st be pu lle d snu g and
c h e c ke d fo r s n u g n e s s im m e d ia ­
te ly a fte r enga gin g it and du rin g
driving. If necessary, tig h te n the
lap p o rtio n to a snu g fit by pulling
s h o u ld e r p o rtio n up.

The lo ckin g fu n c tio n o f th e reel m ay
be c h e c k e d by q u ic k ly pu llin g o u t the
belt.
If th e re a r-fa cin g be n ch seat is not
be in g used, h o o k th e sea t b e lts in to
