Central Locking System
The e n tire veh icle may be lo ck e d or
un lo c k e d w ith the c e n tra l lo c kin g sy s ­
tem by:
• Using the m a ste r o r valet key in
e ith e r fro n t do or.
• U sing th e m a ste r key in th e ta il­
gate lock.
• P ushing d o w n /p u llin g up the
in te rio r d o o r lo ck b u tto n at eith e r
fro n t d o o r o r tailgate.
The c e n tra l lo ckin g system lo c k s o r
u n lo cks all d o o rs and th e fuel fille r
flap.
W hen lo c k in g th e car, all d o o r lo ck
b u tto n s sh o u ld m ove d o w n (the ta il­
gate b u tto n sh o u ld m ove a least half­
w ay d o w n ). If any b u tto n stays in the
up p o sitio n , th e re s p e c tiv e d o o r is n o t
p ro p e rly clo s e d . O pen th e d o o r, push
th e d o o r lo c k b u tto n d o w n and clo se
th e d o o r c o rre ctly .
The cen tra l lo ckin g syste m can be
en ga ge d fro m in side th e veh icle by
pu sh in g d o w n th e d o o r lo c k b u tto n
on the d rive r-s id e , p a sse n g e r-s id e o r
tailgate, p ro vid e d the d o o r on the
d riv e r-s id e is p ro p e rly clo se d . O n the
p a sse n g e r-sid e d o o r and tailgate, the
cen tra l lo ckin g syste m can only be

If th e ca r has been lo c k e d fro m the
o u tsid e , the a n ti-th e ft alarm w ill com e
on if a d o o r is o p e n e d fro m th e inside.
W hen en g a g in g th e c e n tra l lo c k in g
system fro m th e tailga te , the tailga te
w ill rem ain lo c k e d w h en u n lo c k in g the
car fro m e ith e r fro n t d o o r. The tailga te
can only the n be u n lo c k e d by using
th e m a s te r key in th e tailga te lock.
The rear d o o rs can be in d e p e n d e n tly
u n lo c ke d fro m the inside by firs t p u ll­
ing th e d o o r lo c k b u tto n up and the n
p u llin g th e handle in th e d o o r trim
panel. To re lo c k th e re s p e c tiv e do or,
p u sh the d o o r lo ck b u tto n do w n
again.

If the fuel fille r fla p c a n n o t be open ed ,
