Hood
To op en :
To u n lo ck the hood, pull release lever
(1) u n d e r th e d riv e r's sid e of the
in s tru m e n t panel. A t th e sam e tim e
handle (2) w ill po p o u t o f the ra d ia to r
grill (it may be n e ce ssa ry to lift the
h o od up slig h tly ).
Pull handle (2) c o m p le te ly o u t of
ra d ia to r grill and open h o o d (do not
pull up on handle).

To help prevent personal injury,

th e hood is open and th e engine
is running. Be sure th e hood is
properly closed before driving.
The engine is equ ip p ed w ith a
transistorized ignition system .
Because of th e high vo ltag e it is
d angerous to touch any co m p o ­
nents (ignition coil, distributor,
spark plug so ckets, ignition
cables, diagn o stic so cket) of the
ignition system
if th e ignition is " o n " and the
engine turned m anually
w hile starting the engine
with the engine running.
