Parking
W arning!
To reduce th e risk of personal
injury as a result of vehicle m ove­
m ent, before turning off the
engine and leaving th e vehicle
alw ays:
1. Keep fo ot on brake pedal.
2.
Firmly depress parking
brake pedal.
3.
Move th e s e le c to r lever
to position " P" .
4
Slow ly release brake pedal.
5. Turn front w heels tow ards the
road curb.
6. Turn the key to steerin g lock
position 0 and rem ove.

It is advisable to se t th e pa rkin g brake
w h e n e ve r leaving the veh icle . In a d d i­
tio n , m ove s e le c to r lever to p o sitio n

A lso , w hen pa rkin g on hills, always
apply the p a rkin g brake.
