9.3.3 Preamp
The preamp board cascades a parametric equalizer,a distortion and 8 bands
equalizer. Using 5 different layouts, the preamp board is ideal for clean,
crunch, boost, overdrive, fuzz, metal.

Layout- assign one of the 5 routing possibilities: Clean, Dist-SiGe, Dist-Jfet,
Dcascade,Fuzz-NPN.
Use page(-),page(+) to enter the settings. Each layout defines a number of
subpages. Use page(-),page(+) to navigate through the subpages.
CLEAN
The clean layout cascades a sophisticated parametric equalizer (Emphasis
block) and a 8 band equaliser offering a very fine frequency correction tool
to adjust the guitar tone.

Working with Effects: Preamp
DIST-SIGE
The Dist-SiGe layout allows for distortion sounds produced by silicon or germa-
nium diodes. Many classic known distortion pedals are using this technique
(eg. Tube Screamer, Guvnor, Mxr, ZenDrive, etc...).
DIST-JET
The Dist-Jfet uses a particular Jfet design based to reproduce tube distortion
sound.
DCASCADE
The DIstortion cascade layout is obtained by cascading the diode ditortion
with jet distortion.
FUZZ-NPN
The Fuzz-NPN is a high saturation distortion
