Injection Pump Timing
This Information is found in the engine technical manual and should only be performed by a
competent mechanic familiar with Diesel KiKi injection equipment.
Adjustments (Generator)
Once the diesel generator set has been placed in operation, there may be adjustments required
for engine speed (hertz) during the engine's break-in period (first 50 hours) or after this period.
A no-load voltage adjustment may also be required in conjunction with the engine's speed
adjustment. These are not warrantable adjustments as they relate to normal break-in and
maintenance.

AC Load Before Starting Generator
When starting the generator, all AC loads, especially large motors,
should be
sw~ched
off until the engine has come up to speed and, in
cold climates, starts to warm up. This precaution will prevent damage
caused by unanticipated operation of AC machinery and will prevent a
cold engine from stalling.
