Add new oil through the oil filler cap on the top or
side of the engine. After refilling the oil, run the
generator for a few moments while checking the
engine's oil pressure. Make sure there is no leakage
around the new oil fitter or from the oil drain system,
and stop the generator. Then check the quantity of
oil WITh the lube oil dipstick. Fill to, but not over,
the high mark on the dipstick, should the engine
require additional oil.

The DC circuIT on the 15.0 BTDA-614 (12.0BTDA-514) functions to start, operate and stop
the generator dirve engine.
The circuIT is best understood by reviewing the DC schematic
#036411 for the model, as shown on figure 5.18.
The engine mounted DC control panel has three switches used in the starting and stop-
ping of the drive engine.
Four gauges are mounted in the panel that show oil pressure,
water temperature, DC charging vottage and an hour meter to record operating time.
The engine DC wiring is designed to be as simple and straight forward as possible with 3
basic circuITs.
Preheat, start and run circuIT.
