Switching Shore Power to Generator Power

Shut Of Heavy Loads Before Switching Shore To Generator Power
Heavy motor loads should be shut off before switching shore power to
generator power or vice-versa because vottage surges induced by
switching with heavy AC loads may cause damage to the exciter circuit
components in the generator.
