Load the generator to the rated output amperage corresponding to the frequency selected.
Rated Loaded frequency Range:
60 hertz: full load frequency range 58.5 - 59.0 hertz
50 hertz: full load frequency range 48.5 - 49.0 hertz
Minimum voltage acceptable at full rated output (amps)
60 hertz: 108 votts
50 hertz: 205 votts
Should the vottage drop below the minimum, excttation can be increased to raise this
vottage by repOSitioning connections on the Vottage/Hertz Connection Bar. Reposttioning
the two leads from (Z) to

or (Xl will change the full load output vottage. (figure

NOTE: No·load voltage may be effected requiring readjustment wtth the
compound transformer. Do nol use these adjustments to compensate
for overload conditions being placed on the generator/engine (induc-
tive-motor type loads). Loss of generator hertz/speed, as a resutt of
overload, will cause a drop in vottage output.
