Servicing After Every 1000 Hours of Operation
Remove, clean, and pressure test the primary heat exchanger. (A local automotive radiator shop
should be able to clean and test the heat exchanger.)
NOTE: Operating in silty and/or tropical waters may require that a heat
exchanger cleaning be performed more olten than every 1000 hours.
Torquing Cylinder Head Bolts

Tighten the cylinder head

according to the sequence shown in the illustration below.
Make sure the engine is cold when this is done, and loosen one head bold one-han turn and
then tighten

between 80 to 85 Ib-It (11.0 to 11.7 kgim). Then proceed to the next head boH
in the sequence. Tighten the RS (rocker cover stud) securely.
