Engine Speed/Generator Hertz Adjustment
Engine speed is maintained by the governor mechanism inside the fuel injection pump (61.5 -
62.0 hertz at no-load and 58.5 - 59.0 hertz at full rated generator output). Engine no-load speed
is adjusted by poshioning the throttle lever against the adjustable throttle stop screw, lock wiring

that poshion, and tensioning the throttle stop screw against the throttle lever and securing
h whh its lock nut.
