Make sure there is paper in the printer and the paper feed lever is in the
lock position. Make sure the printer is pushed all the way into the body
of the instrument and is locked in position.
Reposition the patient, make sure the eye is aligned, and try again.
Turn the instrument off and on again. Try to take a measurement. If the
problem persists, call Humphrey Systems Customer Service.

Make sure that the power cord is firmly plugged
into the power cord attachment in the side of the instrument and is
firmly plugged into an electrical outlet.
Check fuses (see page 18).
Check the second setup screen to make sure the
printer is turned on. (Press Help, Setup, Page Down to reach Internal
printer.)
Check to see that there is paper in the printer and that it is properly
installed. Make sure the paper feed lever is in the lock position. Check
that the printer is pushed all the way into the body of the instrument
and is locked in position.
Check to see that the type of paper in the printer is the type specified
(Label or Standard). (Press Help, Setup, Page Down to reach Paper
Type on the second setup screen.)
This can be caused by a dirty patient fixation
window. Clean the window carefully following the
instructions on page 18.
Check the instrument's calibration following the
instructions on page 17.
