When you have made your selections, press the button under the Page Down icon to get to the
second setup screen where you can select printer and time and date options.
The second system setup screen (Model 5010 and 5015)
Note: Model 5000 does not have Print all PK data option.
Set Time
Press the Up Arrow and Down Arrow buttons until the correct time appears. Next will
take you am/pm, which you can set with the arrow buttons.
Set Date
Press the Up Arrow and Down Arrow buttons until you reach the correct date.
Time (Date)
Choose the time and date format you would like to use for your records: d = day,
m = month, y = year. You may also use a 24-hour clock, or the am/pm format.
Internal
The refractor's internal printer can be turned On or Off with this option.
The default is On.
Paper Type
Select Standard or Label (adhesive paper). The default is Standard.
Print Name/Date
Yes tells the instrument to print a place for you to write the patient's name on the
refraction printout. Both models print the date automatically. No omits name and date on
the printout. The default is Yes.
Print Multi-Ref
If you select Yes, the Acuitus will print the results of all of the multiple refractive
measurements it takes and print the average. If you select No, the Acuitus only prints the
average of its measurements.
Print Graphic
The graphic depicts the focal length of the eye and the position of the image relative to
the retina in a myopic, hyperopic, and/or astigmatic eye, depending on the patient's
refraction. Select Yes or No.
When you have finished, you can press Page Up to go back to the first setup screen or
press Return. When you press Return, the last shown settings will become the new
defaults, and the Acuitus will take you to the start refraction screen.
