1. Turn the instrument upside down and locate the lamp access door.
2. Loosen the brass thumb screw (do not remove it) until you can open the access door by
pulling up on the screw.
3. Loosen the silver thumb screw (you may require a Phillps/cross screwdriver for this
operation).
