Press the navigation keys to select [0] Interna-
tional or [1] North America as appropriate and
press [OK]. (This changes the default settings for
a number of basic parameters).

Press [Main Menu] on the LCP.
7.
Press the navigation keys to scroll to
parameter 0-01 Language.
8.
Select the language and press [OK].
9.
If a jumper wire is in place between control
terminals 12 and 27, leave
parameter 5-12 Terminal 27 Digital Input at factory
default. Otherwise, select No Operation in
parameter 5-12 Terminal 27 Digital Input. For
adjustable frequency drives with an optional
bypass, no jumper wire is required between
control terminals 12 and 27.

5.5 Checking Motor Rotation

The direction of rotation can be changed by switching two
phases in the motor cable, or by changing the setting of
parameter 4-10 Motor Speed Direction.

Perform a motor rotation check using parameter 1-28 Motor
Rotation Check and following the steps shown in the
display.

5.6 Local Control Test

1.
Press [Hand On] to provide a local start command
to the adjustable frequency drive.
2.
Accelerate the adjustable frequency drive by
pressing [
of the decimal point provides quicker input
changes.
3.
Note any acceleration problems.
4.
Press [Off]. Note any deceleration problems.
In the event of acceleration or deceleration problems, see
chapter 7.6 Troubleshooting. See chapter 7.5 List of Warnings
and Alarms for resetting the adjustable frequency drive
after a trip.

5.7 System Start-up

The procedure in this section requires user-wiring and
application programming to be completed. The following
procedure is recommended after application set-up is
completed.
1.
Press [Auto On].
2.
Apply an external run command.
3.
Adjust the speed reference throughout the speed
range.
4.
Remove the external run command.
5.
Check the sound and vibration levels of the
motor to ensure that the system is working as
intended.
If warnings or alarms occur, see chapter 7.5 List of Warnings
and Alarms.
