Machine Does not Start

- If the monitor is all white, ...................................
- If the monitor is all black, ...................................
- If feed roller does not rotate when pressing
Check button,.......................................................
Screen is All White (S300)
- Check if SW7 of DSW1 on QPM-208 is left [ON].
- Check if image ROM board on QPM-208 are
installed correctly.
- Check if QPM-208 and the touch panel are con-
nected correctly. [Refer to 5 - 2 - 1]

Screen is All Black (S300)
Check the LEDs on control board QPW-725.
If any LED lights on .......................................Go to (1)
If no LED light on...........................................Go to (2)
(1) Image Board Problem Exists.
- There is a problem on LCD control board (QPM-208)
or the inverter board. Go to [2 - 4 - 1].
(2) Power Circuit Problem Exists.
- Circuit protector (Q00) is not tripped.
- 100 VAC is measured between the BL connector X02
and X03.
- 100VAC is measured at the input side of the switch-
ing power supply G02.
- 24VDC is measured between the terminal 1 and 3 on
the output side of the switching power supply G02.
- Wiring and connection between G02 and CON3,
pin9, 11 on QPW-725 is correct.
- 24VDC is measured between CON2, pin 1 and pin3
on QPM-208 LCD control board.
2 - 3 - 1 Machine Does not Start
Feed Roller Does Not Rotate
Check the output shaft of the main motor M01. ([Refer
to 3 - 2 - 1])
Output shaft is rotating/trying to rotate.......... Go to (1)
When output shaft does not rotate................ Go to (2)
(1) Power Transmission Problem Exists.
- Timing belt is not removed, or the tension is not loos-
ened.
- Timing pulley is correctly tightened.
- Plastic gears are correctly fit.
- Connector of the clutch is not disconnected.
- Go to [Service - P4 - Single Operation] to show the
Single Operation screen. Check is you hear a click
sound of the clutch when Y11 through Y20 is turn on.
(2) Electrical Problem Exists.
- There is a continuity between terminal X01 and X02
of BL connector.
- 115/230 VAC is measured between the terminal X01
and X03 of the BL connector.
- Disconnect the connector of the main motor, and
measure the voltage at the power supply side. Check
if 115/230 VAC is measured.
- Disconnect the connector of the main motor, and
measure the voltage between the white and black ter-
minal at the motor side. (There should be a continuity.)
