Jam or No Sheet Error is Indicated

[Cause] Sheet feeding time detection is over 40. (Additional Information: A4SEF feeding time is about 20)
[Recovery] If sheet jam icon appears although sheet jam did not actually occur,
(1) Clean the paper dust on the projecting (upper) / receiving (lower) part of the sensor. If problem still exists,
(2) Replace the lamp on the sensor. If problem still exists,
(3) Replace the sensor. If problem still exists,
(4) Replace the board (QPW-725).
[Cause] Sheet pass senor (B11 through B20) remains On after a collation. (On = when blocked)
[Recovery] If LED which indicates the sheet jam blinks although sheet jam did not occur,
(1) Clean the paper dust on the projecting (upper) / receiving (lower) part of the sensor. If problem still exists,
(2) Take out and put in the sheet on the sheet pass senor manually, and check if the LED (15 through 24) on the control

board (QPW-748) blinks. If it does not blink,
(3) Check the wiring and connection between B11 to B20 and CON8 and 6 on QPW-748.If the wiring is OK, replace the
sheet pass senor. If problem still exists, replace the board (QPW-748).
(4) If the LED blinks, replace the control board (QPW-748).
[Cause] Sheet detect switch (S11 through S20) turns off. (On = When the actuator is not pressed.)
[Recovery] If no sheet error icon appears although detection lever (refer to [3-1-1]) is pushed in,
(1) Check the installation of the micro switch.
(2) Check if the actuator is not broken.
(3) Check the wiring and connection between the connector of QPW-725 and the detect switch.
(4) Check if the LED (L7 through L16) on the QPW-725 blinks when pressing and releasing the actuator manually. If it
blinks, replace the QPW-725.

QC-S30 does not have the sheet detect switch.
