Offset Stops when Receiving Tray is Almost Full
- If the sheets are too heavy, offset cannot be per-
formed.Check if the sheets are within specification.
2 - 3 - 2 Offset Function Malfunction

- Check if the ball plunger of the crank disc is not loos-
ened.

When tightening, keep
the angle to 5 to 10
degrees.
Offset Stops when Receiving Tray is Empty
- For QC-S300, when showing Single Operation
screen by [Information - Service - Single Operation],
and pressing
- For QC-S30, when stacking mode [Offset/Straight]
has been changed,
M03 rotates or tries to rotate •••••••••••••••••• Go to (1)
M03 does not try to rotate at all •••••••••••••••• Go to (2)
Crank
(1) Mechanical Problem Exists.
Disc
- Remove the crank lever from the crank disc (figure
to the left), and check if the receiving tray moves back
and forward smoothly by hand.
- Remove the receiving tray and check the offset

mechanism.([Refer to 3 - 6 - 1])
(2) Electrical Problem in M03 Exists.
- Remove the terminal of the offset motor. Measure
the voltage between the terminals on power source
side while following condition. For QC-S300, when
selecting single operation / For QC-SS30, changing
the receiving mode [offset or straight]. When 24 VDC
is measured, M03 has a problem. Replace M03. If 24

VDC is not measured, check the followings.

- [For QC-S300] Check the wiring and connection
between MO3 and CON3, pin 5 and 6 on QPW-725.
- [For QC-S30] Check the wiring and connection
between MO3 and CON9, pin 5 and 6 on QPW-748.
[Additional Information]
Rotating direction of the offset motor is counter-
clockwise seen from the top.
