8.1 Beeper
(1) Beeper Sound
The beeper emits a single or multiple long or short beeps according to the various conditions.
The beeper emits a short beep when
- the code has scanned successfully,
- the scanned code data matches the master data in "data verification mode,"
- a split QR Code is scanned,
- a "Setting commencement" or "Setting completion" code is read (three beeps), or a parameter setting code is read (one beep)
while setting parameters via the QR-coded parameter menu
- the configuration software (ScannerSetting_2D) starts, or configuration changes take effect (three beeps),
- a batch setting QR Code generated in the configuration software is scanned (three beeps),
- the power supply has turned on (4 short beeps),

- a Bluetooth
wireless communication connection is established (two short beeps),
- the scanner is going to turn off due to the low battery level of the rechargeable battery cartridge (5 slightly longer short
beeps), or
- when the software keyboard on/off switching function has been used (iPhone/iPad connections only. 2 short beeps).
The beeper emits a long beep when
- the code data scanned in "data verification mode" does not match the master data,
- the stored data of a split QR Code scanned in edit mode exceeds 8KB,
- a master code digit number error has occurred during master data registration,
- a code other than a parameter setting code is scanned during parameter setting using the QR-coded parameter menu,
- a transmission error or timeout occurred when the scanner was communicating with the configuration software
(ScannerSetting_2D),
- the encryption key of scanned data does not match the one configured in the scanner in SQRC scanning (when "data
transmission after mismatch of encryption key" is disabled),
- a communication error has occurred,
- an invalid control command is received,

- Bluetooth
wireless communication is disconnected,
- the communications adapter is successfully set from the scanner (1 beep) or not successfully set (3 beeps), or
- parameter settings are changed via the QR-coded parameter menu or configuration software but those setting values have
failed to save.
