Mounting requirements of IO_Units

When defining partitions, ensure that the following mounting requirements are
fulfilled:
The partition must include one IO_Unit having a BMC module (BMM) mounted.
When a partition contains two or more IO_Units with an MBB mounted on each ,
only one BMM actually operates. The IO_Unit that contains the operating MBB is
called the home IO_Unit.
Remark:
8.1.2 PCI_Box allocation
Each PCIU of a PCI_Box can be allocated to a partition. One PCI_Box can be
divided and allocated to up to four partitions. Each PCIU is allocated to the partition
to which the PCI_Box interface connector of the connected IO_Unit belongs.

The home IOU can be set on the [Home of Partition] screen, which is
displayed by clicking the [Home] button on the [Partition Configuration]
screen of the MMB Web-UI.
