The EzCal LCD Dis play is a di ag nos tic tool for the
con trol sys tem. It is in tended to be used pri mar ily
by trained tech ni cians.
The EzCal LCD dis play gives some in for ma tion for
the ma chine op er a tor.
n Water
If the en gine be comes too hot the EzCal LCD dis -
play will show
"Shut down - En gine Too Hot"
n Alternator
If the altenator is not pro vid ing suf fi cient charge the
EzCal LCD dis play will show
"Shut down - Not Charg ing"
n Oil Pressure
If the en gine does not have suf fi cient oil pres sure
the EzCal LCD dis play will show
"Shut down - No Oil Pres sure"
n Hours

Work time

The EzCal de fault state is to dis play ma chine work
time. It ac cu mu lates time when ever the con trol
sys tem is ac tive. This can be re set by a qual i fied
tech ni cian. This value can be used to tell when pe -
ri odic main te nance is due.

Total time

The to tal ma chine on time can be found by us ing
the EzCal di ag nos tics un der log. this can not be re -
set.

n Engine Oil
En gine oil level is mea sured with a dip stick. Oil ca -
pac i ties given in the Spec i fi ca tions chap ter 3 are
ap prox i mate. True val ues will vary from ma chine to
ma chine due to slight vari a tions or mod i fi ca tions
during production.
The oil dipstick is the only way to
l
accurately gauge if the engine oil level is
correct.
Engine oil level should always be between
l
the lines on the dipstick - never above the
top line or below the bottom line.

n Hydraulic Oil Level

The hy drau lic-oil level gauge is on the side of the
hy drau lic oil tank. It shows the ac tual level of oil in -
side the tank. Read it only when the plat form is
com pletely down. Oth er wise, the lift cyl in ders be -
come large res er voirs for hy drau lic oil and the oil
level in the tank will be low. The oil level should be
within ( 0.25 inches, 6.4 mm) of the line.
