Recording a picture
Time code (for tapes recorded in the Digital8
system only)
The time code indicates the recording or
playback time, "0:00:00" (hours:minutes:
seconds) in CAMERA mode and "0:00:00:00"
(hours:minutes:seconds:frames) in PLAYER
mode. You cannot rewrite only the time code.
When you play back tapes recorded in the Hi8/
standard 8 system, the tape counter appears on
the screen.
You cannot reset the time code or the tape
counter.
Shooting backlit subjects

– BACK LIGHT

When you shoot a subject with the light source
behind the subject or a subject with a light
background, use the backlight function.
In CAMERA or MEMORY (DCR-TRV340E/
TRV738E only) mode, press BACK LIGHT.
The . indicator appears on the screen.
To cancel, press BACK LIGHT again.
If you press EXPOSURE when shooting backlit
subjects
The backlight function will be cancelled.

Video-opnamen maken
Tijdcode (alleen voor cassettes opgenomen
met het Digital8 systeem)
De tijdcode geeft de opnameduur of weergave-
speelduur aan als "0:00:00"
(uren:minuten:seconden) in de "CAMERA"
stand en als "0:00:00:00"
(uren:minuten:seconden:beeldnummers) in de
"PLAYER" stand. U kunt deze tijdcode niet
afzonderlijk wijzigen.
Bij afspelen van cassettes die zijn opgenomen
met het Hi8/standaard 8-mm systeem wordt
alleen de gewone bandteller aangegeven.
Het is niet mogelijk de bandteller of de tijdcode
op nul terug te stellen.

Opnemen bij tegenlicht

– BACK LIGHT
Voor het maken van tegenlicht-opnamen, met
achter uw onderwerp een lichtbron of een erg
lichte achtergrond, kunt u ter correctie de BACK
LIGHT tegenlichtcompensatie inschakelen.
Druk op de BACK LIGHT toets tijdens opnemen
in de "CAMERA" stand (of de "MEMORY"
stand, alleen voor de DCR-TRV340E/TRV738E).
De . tegenlicht-indicator verschijnt op het
scherm.
Om de tegenlichtcompensatie uit te schakelen,
drukt u nogmaals op de BACK LIGHT toets.
BACK LIGHT
Als u op de EXPOSURE toets drukt tijdens het
opnemen bij tegenlicht
Dan wordt de tegenlichtcompensatie
uitgeschakeld.
