Dubbing only desired scenes
– Digital program editing
(on tapes)
You cannot set IN or OUT to the following
portions of the tape:
– A blank portion of the tape
– A portion recorded in a system other than
Digital8
The total time code may not be displayed
correctly in the following cases:
– The tape is not recorded in the Digital8
system.
– There is a blank portion between IN and OUT
on the tape.
Operation 2: Performing the
programme (Dubbing a tape)
Make sure that your camcorder and VCR are
connected, and that the VCR is set to recording
pause. When you use an i.LINK cable (DV
connecting cable), the following procedure is not
necessary.
When you use a digital video camera recorder,
set its power switch to VCR/VTR.
(1) For DCR-TRV238E/TRV239E:
Turn the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select
VIDEO EDIT, then press the dial.
For DCR-TRV340E/TRV738E:
Select VIDEO EDIT in the menu settings. Turn
the SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select TAPE,
then press the dial.
(2) Select START in the menu settings. Turn the
SEL/PUSH EXEC dial to select EXECUTE,
then press the dial.
Search for the beginning of the first
programme, then start dubbing.
The programme mark flashes.
The SEARCH indicator appears during
search, and the EDITING indicator appears
during edit on the screen.
The programme mark changes to light blue
after dubbing ends.
When dubbing ends, your camcorder and the
VCR automatically stop.

U kunt geen CUT-IN startpunt of CUT-OUT
eindpunt afbakenen bij de volgende plaatsen
op de band:
– een onbespeeld gedeelte van de band;
– een gedeelte dat is opgenomen met een ander
systeem dan Digital8
De totale tijdcode kan niet juist worden
aangegeven in de volgende gevallen:
– als de band is opgenomen met een ander
systeem dan Digital8
– als er een blanco passage is tussen het CUT-IN
startpunt en het CUT-OUT eindpunt;
Procedure 2: Uw programma op
digitale wijze overnemen
(digitaal kopiëren)
Zorg dat uw camcorder en de videorecorder
goed zijn aangesloten en dat de videorecorder in
de opnamepauzestand staat. (Bij aansluiting met
een i.LINK kabel (DV-aansluitsnoer) is de
volgende procedure niet nodig.)
Als u kopieert naar een andere digitale
videocamera/recorder, zet dan de aan/uit-
schakelaar daarvan in de "VCR/VTR" stand.
(1) Voor de DCR-TRV238E/TRV239E:
Stel met een draai aan de SEL/PUSH EXEC
regelknop in op VIDEO EDIT en druk de
regelknop in.
Voor de DCR-TRV340E/TRV738E:
Kies het onderdeel VIDEO EDIT in het
instelmenu. Draai dan aan de SEL/PUSH
EXEC regelknop om in te stellen op "TAPE"
en druk de regelknop in.
(2) Kies het onderdeel START in het instelmenu.
Draai aan de SEL/PUSH EXEC regelknop,
stel in op EXECUTE en druk de regelknop in.
Zoek het beginpunt van de eerste over te
nemen scène op en begin daar met kopiëren.
Tijdens het zoeken licht de aanduiding
"SEARCH" op en tijdens het kopiëren
verschijnt de aanduiding "EDITING" op het
scherm.
Elke scènemarkering wordt lichtblauw nadat
de scène is overgekopieerd.
Na afloop van het kopiëren zullen uw
camcorder en de videorecorder beide
automatisch stoppen.
