Warning
Dangerous electrical voltage! Can lead to electrical shocks and burns. Before
starting work, disconnect the system from the power supply.
9.1.1
Selecting the power cables
The wire cross-section of the power cables must be adapted to the relevant
ambient conditions. The most important factors for the wire cross-section are:
• the set current at the device,
• the type of cable routing,
• the ambient temperature,
• the material type (PVC, rubber).
For PVC power cables, e.g. when routed in the cable duct, depending on the
ambient temperature, the following maximum current-carrying capacity results:
2
mm
1.5
2.5
4.0
On wiring, observe the following rules:
Current-carrying capacity of the plug connection
depending on the connectable wire cross-sections and
ambient temperature

Unused connections
Close off unused connections with sealing caps; this is the only way to ensure
type of protection IP65, order number 3RK1902-0CJ00 (10 units) or 3RK1902-
