Explanation

A Read or a Space command has
terminated early because a file
mark has been encountered. The
File Mark flag will be set.
A Write or a Write File Marks com-
mand ended in the early warning
area. The EOM flag will be set.
A Mode Select command parame-
ter has been rounded because the
drive cannot store it with the accu-
racy of the command
CM inquiry failure detected
Failure Prediction thresholds have
been exceeded indicating that a
failure may occur soon.
Cause Not Reportable -
A tape is present in the drive, but it
is in the process of being unloaded.
Process of Becoming Ready -
A medium access command has
been received during a front panel
