DELAYED TRANSMISSION

The facsimile machine can automatically transmit at a preset time. This overcomes problems created by time
zones when the correspondent is based, for example, on a different continent, and enables you to transmit at
cheaper times and when the lines are less busy.
To transmit a document in this way, you must leave the document (having prepared it and set the time at which
it is to be sent) in the automatic document feeder (ADF), until it is sent, or store it using the automatic storage
feature.
Note that, even after setting the facsimile machine for delayed transmission, you can receive, copy or send
documents; just remember to replace the document in the ADF before the preset time.
This section explains how to set delayed transmission. To cancel a delayed transmission operation, see the
"Connection activities" section of the "ACTIVITY HANDLING" chapter.

transmission operation has already been set.
4.
Type the time at which the document is to be sent
(within 24 hours), e.g. 22:10. After each digit is typed,
the cursor moves on to the next digit.
Two digits must be set for each parameter, inserting
a zero for parameters that consist of one digit only.
Having completed the setting by entering the minutes,
the cursor moves back to the first digit of the first
parameter.
