PC/FAX MULTIFUNCTIONS
The facsimile machine has a serial port which enables it to be connected to an IBM-compatible PC.
The optional kit, available at authorized dealers, requires the use of Microsoft Windows 3.1. The configuration
offered with this option enables the facsimile machine to be used as:
•
high-quality printer (300x300 dpi)
•
scanner for converting paper documents into images that can be processed on the PC.
It also offers the PC/FAX function, which uses a standard Windows application for:
•
sending documents created on a PC
•
receiving and storing documents directly into the PC's memory.
The procedures for installing and using these functions are described in the documentation provided with
the kit.
