The Gestetner F104L* functions as a network scanner and document management solution,
capturing paper-based documents such as photos, schematics and handwritten reports, at up to
600 dpi resolution. The newly created electronic files are available for immediate storage on a
standard Document Server, which functions as a repository. Users have the ability to view and
manage stored information from the convenience of their desktops using ScanRouter V2 Lite,
and DeskTopBinder V2 Lite software (CD's included with the F104L).
• ScanRouter V2 Lite has been developed for businesses that need cost-effective, productive
document management and distribution strategies. As a network image distribution center
the ScanRouter software can sort scanned documents and images, save them to specified
inboxes or send them to designated client folders, eliminating the need for individual desktop
scanners.
• DeskTopBinder V2 Lite software enables the user to handle various data including scanned
images, document or files created with various software or image files that the user already has.

• The Gestetner F104L is fully compatible with Document Mall, an Internet-based file storage
and sharing Application Service Provider (ASP). Document Mall allows easy, automatic file
storage and management through a secure "https" connection over the Internet. "https" is
the most secure data transmission standard on the Internet. From the Gestetner F104L's
control panel, documents can be scanned and transmitted electronically over the Internet
directly into Document Mall. Once stored, documents and files can be easily retrieved and
shared worldwide.
• The Gestetner F104L can also send documents to Gestetner's eCabinet, a secure file storage
and retrieval device. ECabinet captures paper and electronic documents such as e-mails,
faxes, PC documents, photocopies, scans and Web content, with state-of-the-art Optical
Character Recognition (OCR) and indexing technology and stores them in a single repository.
