PROFIBUS-based diagnostics

For communication via PROFIBUS, in the case of fault the following diagnostics data is
output:
● Standard diagnostics (Page 71)
● Identifier-related diagnostics (Page 71)
● Status messages/module status (Page 72)
● Channel-related diagnostics (Page 73)
● Data sets DS0/DS1 and diagnostics alarm (Page 74)
Message structure
The following applies if a message contains all of the specified diagnostics data:
● Standard diagnostics
Is always located at the beginning of the message.
● Data sets DS0/DS1 and diagnostics alarm
Is always located at the end of the message. This message part is always slot-specific.
The actual state of the slot responsible for the message is always transferred in the
message.
The other diagnostics data (types) can be in any sequence. This is the reason that the
following diagnostics data include a header:
● Identifier-related diagnostics
● Status messages/module status
● Channel-related diagnostics
The diagnostic data type can be uniquely identified based on the header.
Note
The master must operate in the DPV1 mode.
