Test Set-Up
1. When you are ready to conduct the first test of the day, remove the Calibration Cap
from the Patient Eyepiece. Replace the calibration cap on the Patient Eyepiece when
the instrument is not in use to minimize the accumulation of dust and debris on the
Patient Eyepiece.
2. Check that the Patient Visor is in the correct position to test the corresponding eye. For
testing the RIGHT eye (factory default setting), position the Patient Visor so that it
extends past the housings on your RIGHT side when viewing from the Operator LCD
side of the instrument. This positions the Patient Eyepiece on the RIGHT side facing
the Patient Visor. If the Patient Visor is not correctly positioned, a popup message will
appear on the screen when the Start Test button is pressed.
3. Make sure the Patient Response button is properly connected. The patient test will not
begin if the Patient Response button is not connected.
