The OPMI Lumera i comprises the following key components:
1 Microscope
for the magnified visualization of the field of view.
2 X-Y coupling
for precise movement of the microscope in the horizontal X-Y plane.
3 Stand
for powering and controlling the functions of the surgical microscope.
The floor stand comprises the suspension and carrier arms, the stand
column, and the stand base.
The carrier arm contains the control unit with all electrical supply systems
required for the control of the motorized microscope.
The suspension arm allows the surgical microscope to be positioned or
brought into its standby position (suspension arm in upward position).
The light turns off in the standby position, and functions like XY or Focus
Reset are reset to their stored start value. The downward travel of the
suspension arm can be limited as required.
A maneuvering handle mounted on the stand column is used to move the
stand and to attach the foot control panel. The stand column is equipped
on both sides with cable holders for winding up the cables before moving
the device to another location.
The stand base is equipped with four steerable casters which make it easier
for you to position the system in the OR. The locking tabs of the casters
enable you to prevent the system from moving or rolling away of its own
accord.
4 Foot control panel (not shown in the illustration)
for controlling the major motorized functions of the microscope.
