(A fault message will be

(The cook display will be blank

PROBABLE CAUSE
a. Circuit breaker is tripped.
b. Master Power Switch (reset) is in
the OFF position.
c. Master Power Switch is faulty.
d. A cook mode button has not been
pressed. The grill is still in the
IDLE mode.
a. Heater is faulty.
b. The thermocouple is faulty.
c. Thermo overload is faulty.
a. Thermocouple is faulty.
a. Defective springs.
a. Release material sheet is worn.
b. The adjustable platen handle is in
the wrong position.
c. Heat zone is not heating.
d. Upper cook surface has carbon
build-up.
e. An incorrect item was placed on
the lower cook surface (example:
4 oz. patty placed in 2 oz. cook
position).

REMEDY
a. Reset the circuit breaker.
b. Place the Master Power Switch in
the ON position.
c. Contact a service technician.
d. Press the appropriate cook mode
button (COOK ONLY or COOK &
STAGE).
