544 – AL Configuration Changed
Yellow alarm
Cause
This alarm is activated when the
system configuration was
changed, e.g. because the ECU or
SAM was exchanged.
549 – AL Power Disruption
Alarm from the emergency stop counter function
Yellow alarm; warning
Cause
Engine Control Unit power has
been disconnected with the
engine still running. This may lead
to overpressure in the HP system
which can damage the engine.
551 – SS Engine Overspeed Camshaft
Limit value 2
Cause
Camshaft overspeed.
555 – AL Call MTU Field Service
Cause
This fault becomes active if a
maintenance case has been
processed by the ECU Field Data
Handling (FDH) feature that
results in a change of engine
parameters.
This fault remains active even
after switching off and back on
until a valid enabling code is
entered via the SAM display and
key controls. This enabling code
can be requested via the Internet
using a special procedure.
