Chapter 15 | Errors and Faults

In the event that the OLCT 80 detects a fault or error:
The orange
indicator light (Figure 4, 2) will illuminate.
A specific message will be displayed (Figure 4, 5).

Worn sensor
Main sensor

Reading out of
range
Negative reading
Corrective action
Follow the zeroing
procedure (see page 72).
Adjust sensitivity; see page 72.
Replace the sensor; see page
80.
The main sensor is
disconnected. After taking all
of the necessary safety
precautions (if the OLCT 80 is
installed in an ATEX zone),
open the cover of the OLCT 80
and check the connection
between the sensor and the
terminal on the printed circuit
board.
The gas concentration
measured is outside the
sensor's approved
measurement range.
Follow the zeroing
procedure (see page 72) or
replace the sensor (see page
80).
