3.4 Base Connector Box

The procedure for removing/installing the base connector box varies with the Manipulator
used.
■ Do not remove the base connector box forcibly. Removing the base connector
box forcibly may result in damage to the cables, disconnection, and/or contact
failure.

■ When installing the base connector box, be careful not to allow the cables to
interfere with the box mounting and do not bend these cables forcibly to push
them into the cover.
CAUTION
Unnecessary strain on cables may result in damage to the cables, disconnection,
and/or contact failure. Damaged cables, disconnection, or contact failure is
extremely hazardous and may result in electric shock and/or improper function of
the robot system.
When routing the cables, observe the cable locations after removing the base
connector box. Be sure to place the cables back to their original locations.

3.4.1 S, C Type Manipulators

Unscrew the bolts from the base connector box
and remove the box.

3.4.2 SM, CM Type Manipulators

Unscrew the bolts from the base connector box
and remove the box.
