Configuration procedure

# Enable DHCPv6 snooping.
<Router> system-view
[Router] ipv6 dhcp snooping enable
# Specify Ethernet 1/1 as a trusted port.
[Router] interface ethernet 1/1
[Router-Ethernet1/1] ipv6 dhcp snooping trust
[Router-Ethernet1/1] quit
# Enable recording of client information in DHCPv6 snooping entries.
[Router]interface Ethernet 1/2
[Router-Ethernet1/2] ipv6 dhcp snooping binding record
[Router-Ethernet1/2] quit

Verifying the configuration

The DHCPv6 client obtains an IPv6 address and other configuration parameters from the authorized
DHCPv6 server. You can use the display ipv6 dhcp snooping binding command to display DHCPv6
snooping entries on the authorized DHCPv6 server.
