1.4 Connecting to the Telephone Line

1) Turn off the main power of the host ma-
chine.
2) Connect one end of the modular cable
to the modular jack in the wall.
3) Connect the other end of the modular
cable [1] to the modular jack (middle)
for the telephone line (on the machine).
4) Turn on the main power of the host ma-
chine.
