CHAPTER 4 INSTALLATION

1.2 Before Starting the Work

Keep the following in mind when install-
ing the G3 FAX Board to its host machine:
a. The power plug of the host machine
must remain disconnected.
b. The screws must be identified by type
(length, diameter) and location.
c. All screws of the metal covers must be
tightened properly. A missing screw can
lead to noise and, ultimately, to mal-
function.

1.3 Installation to the Host Machine

1) Remove the seven screws [1], and de-
tach the rear cover.
