HRG Router Mode

Figure 5-22 shows the block diagram and cabling example for an HRG 1:1 redundant configuration using
the Gigabit Ethernet Interface in Router Mode. This configuration requires no cabling kit – you must use
user-provided Ethernet cables and Layer 2 switch for direct connection to the modem via any one of the
two, four, or eight available RJ-45 Traffic Ethernet ports.
Both details in Figure 5-22 show use of 'GE1' Traffic Ethernet port for the example. Any
single Traffic Ethernet port may be used.
