Advanced VSAT CDM-850 or CDM-840 Operation in 1:1 Redundancy

The Advanced VSAT CDM-850 and CDM-840 Remote Routers automatically detect connection to a 1:1
redundancy system. With both units automatically configured for 1:1 operation, the online unit keeps
the offline unit updated as online unit configuration changes occur.
If you choose to manually force backup of the online unit, you must execute the switchover by using the
Redundancy section of the online unit HTTP Interface 'Utility | Utility' page. Figure 4-3 shows an
example of this page, which is subject to update.

If the unit is part of a 1:1 redundant pair and the unit is currently online, click [Force Redundancy
Switch] to force this currently active unit to switch to standby mode.
