• Used to change the matrix ratio of luminance signal to color-dif
ference signal.
· When it is turned on (LED lights up), matrix akin to usual home
receivers is available.

· When it is turned on (SET-UP side/ LED lights up), vertical deflec-
tion is contracted, making the adjustment of white balm1ce (R/G/8
BACK GROUND) easier.

· Function of this switch changes as follows according to the status of
MONO switch on the front panel. This switch functions only when
analog/digital (02) NTSC composite signal is input.

!AUTO COLOR!
COLOR/MONO circuit operation of decoder changes auto-
matically according to tl1e existence and non existence of
burst of composite signal.
jFORCED COLOR!
COLOR circuit operates forcedly independently oft11e exis-
tence and nonexistence of burst of composite signal.
!NORMAL MONO]
Ordinary MONO status. COMP or TRAP filter circuit is
operating according to tl1e status of COMB switch when
composite signal is input.
!WIDE BAND MONO!
Both COMB and TRAP filter circuits do not operate in the
above-mentioned MONO status. ll1e frequency charac-
teristic ofluminance signal is flat.
