Preparing the WAVECOM GSM Modem for AEC2.1

Insert the SIM Chip into the GSM Modem.
Power up the GSM modem.
Connect the PC serial port, and the Modem using the serial cable that comes with the
Modem.
Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > Communication > HyperTerminal.
You will be prompted to enter the name of the connection, enter any name in the Name
field.
Select the comport that the GSM Modem is connected to.
