Turn Infrared control on and off

5.2.1

Turn on Infrared control

Ensure that the heater, the surroundings and the sensors are free of objects.

Turn off Infrared control

A mode is selected. The corresponding green lamp lights up.

NOTE!
The temperature values displayed on the control unit may vary from that
displayed on the thermometers mounted additionally in the cabin. This
may be because of the following reasons:
Depending on the cabin, temperatures differences of up to 40K can oc-
cur from the floor to ceiling.
Analogue instruments are slower to react than the electronic measure-
ment and display system used in the control unit.
Turn on the Infrared control using the "Control unit ON" key. → See page 11.
The set point temperature and the heating time are displayed. The green lamp
flashes.
PLEASE NOTE!
The electronic components can be damaged by repeated improper
turning off!
Therefore:
– Turn off the Infrared control as described.
Press the key of the selected mode. The green lamp next to the key flashes.
The green lamp of the selected mode flashes. Turn off the Infrared control using
the "Control unit OFF" key. → See page 11
