3.3 Sensor Selection Screen

The Sensor Selection Screen (Figure 34) contains a number of navigation controls designed to
make job of selecting application elements and functions easier. These navigation controls
present an organizational view of the active workspace, inform the user about the state of the
application, and provide the user with tools to configure and control Geokon devices.

The Sensor Selection Screen is comprised of several core components:
Project
Element selection tool. Context (dropdown) menu. See Section 3.4.
Explorer:
Application
Allows display changes, workspace, project and sensor configuration
as well as connection to the remote module. See Section 3.5.
Menu:
File and project explorer element exporting and importing. Data file
File Menu:
viewing and deleting options. See Section 3.6.
Displays the connection status of the application.
Status Area:

Note: While the operator is using the functions and features of the Sensor Selection Screen, the
Remote Module may timeout and drop the Bluetooth connection after about six minutes to
conserve battery power. This is normal and the connection can easily be restored using "Remote
Connect with..." Application menu option (see Section 3.5.3 for more information).
