Inverter Drip Shield Installation
The inverter drip shield helps to protect the unit from dripping
or splashing liquids, which will cause a shock hazard. The
inverter drip shield is especially useful in marine installations
where water from condensation, rain, or sea may come into
contact with the Freedom SW 230V.
SHOCK HAZARD
Do not operate the unit under wet conditions and when the unit is wet.
This product is intended only for use in dry areas. Installing the inverter
drip shield may not entirely protect you from this hazard.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death or serious injury.
You may purchase the inverter drip shield by contacting an
authorized dealer. When ordering, mention part number 808-
9004.

To install the drip shield:
1. Acquire ten #6-3/4 screws needed to fasten the inverter
drip shield to the wall.
2. Locate an appropriate setting for the drip shield above the
Freedom SW 230V making sure you cover the entire
width of the unit.
3. Fasten the screws through the holes in the drip shield into
the wall.
