2020 Software Manual
2020 can be connected to a car battery through the cigarette lighter
with the DC power cord. While 2020 is connected to the car battery
the 2020 battery is being charged.
NOTE: 2020 is not classified for use in hazardous locations with a DC
power cord.
To connect your 2020 to a DC power supply:
If the car is running, ensure the car exhaust does not contaminate
your samples.
Belt Clip Holster
Use the belt clip holster (Part No. MX350008) to protect the
instrument and to mount the instrument to a belt or personal
apparatus.

1. Turn the instrument off by pressing the ON/OFF key
for 2 seconds.
2. Connect the DC power cord (Part No. MX350004) to
the 2020 AC adapter jack on the rear of the instrument.
3. Connect the other end of the DC power cord to the
cigarette lighter in the car.
4. Turn the instrument on again by pressing the ON/OFF
key.
1. Disconnect the top strap of the holster and insert 2020
into the holster.
2. Reconnect the strap so that 2020 is held securely.
