Detect Non-Compliant Device
Select Enabled for the AMI BIOS to automatically detect a PCI-E device that is not
compliant with the PCI-E standards. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
South Bridge
SMBus Controller
Set this option to either Enabled or Disabled to activate or deactivate the SMBus
controller on the motherboard. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
SLP_S4 Assertion Stretch Enable
Set this option to either Enabled or Disabled to activate or deactivate the SLP_S4#
Assertion Stretch. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
SLP_S4 Assertion Width
Set this option to select a minimum assertion width for the SLP_S4# signal.
The options are, 1-2 Seconds, 2-3 Seconds, 3-4 Seconds, and 4-5 Seconds.
High Precision Timer
Select Enabled to activate the High Performance Event Timer (HPET) that produces
periodic interrupts at a much higher frequency than a Real-time Clock (RTC) does in
synchronizing multimedia streams, providing smooth playback and reducing the de-
pendency on other timestamp calculation devices, such as an x86 RDTSC Instruc-
tion embedded in the CPU. The High Performance Event Timer is used to replace
the 8254 Programmable Interval Timer. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
USB Confi guration
All USB Devices
Set this option to either Enabled or Disabled to activate or deactivate all USB ports
on the motherboard. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
USB Port 0 ~ USB Port 5
Set this option to either Enabled or Disabled to activate or deactivate a particular
USB port on the motherboard. The options are Enabled and Disabled.
USB01 Wake Up / USB23 Wake Up / USB45 Wake Up
Set this option to either Enabled or Disabled to activate or deactivate the USB
wake up feature on the specifi ed pair USB ports on the motherboard. The options
are Enabled and Disabled.
