Watch Dog Reset
Watch Dog (JWD1) is a system moni-
tor that can reboot the system when a
software application hangs. Close pins
1~2 to reset the system if an applica-
tion hangs. Close pins 2~3 to generate
a non-maskable interrupt signal for the
application that hangs. See the table on
the right for jumper settings. Watch Dog
must also be enabled in the BIOS.
Manufacture Mode
Close pins 2 and 3 of JPME2 to bypass
SPI flash security and force the system
to operate in the Manufacture Mode,
allowing the user to flash the system
firmware from a host server for system
setting modifications. See the table on
the right for jumper settings.
SMB (I2C) Bus to PCI Slots
Jumpers JI2C1 and JI2C2 allow you to
connect the System Management Bus
(SMB) to PCI-E and PCI slots. The de-
fault setting is Disabled. See the table
on the right for jumper settings.
Front Panel LED Select
Jumper JPF1 allows the user to confi gure
the front panel LAN LED to display status
indicators for either normal LAN traffi c, or
Bypass LAN.
Front Panel RST Button Select
Jumper JPF2 allows the user to
confi gure the front panel reset button to
either send a Non-Maskable Interrupt
request or a hardware reset to the
system.
