Clamp the eyelet vertically in the vise.

Use your fingers to remove the seal head/air piston seal and
glide rings.
Spray isopropyl alcohol on the seal head/air piston and clean it
with a rag.
Install the thicker glide ring below the seal head/air piston seal, and the
thinner glide ring above.
